we're back!

I hope everyone had a great Christmas/Chanukah/Kwanzaa/Solstice/Feast of Sol Invtus/8 weeks of winter, because here at Big Blue Die we’re rested, revamped, and ready to resume transmission!

Just about a year ago, we started Big Blue Die to explore and celebrate the wide world of tabletop gaming: RPGs, CCGs, boardgames, miniatures, etc.  It’s been a good year and we’ve learned a lot of things, including the humbling lesson that the vast multiverse of gaming is too big for one little website.  Therefore we have decided to refocus our energies on what we know and love best: role-playing games.  We still love and play other games, but RPGs are where our passion lies.

In the year ahead we’ll have game reviews, Kickstarter spotlights, essays, tools treasures and adventures, and maybe a few surprise, all to spark conversations, inspire games, and improve play at your table.   Because it’s at the table that the real gaming happens and every game is a do-it-yourself experience.  And here at Big Blue Die we’re dedicated to helping you play the best games you can.
